NSR Analysts are responsible for the end-to-end production of market research studies on specific subjects within the satellite market and for the undertaking of contracted consulting projects for a global client base. Generally an Analyst will work with another member of the NSR team on a joint project or study, or in some cases, will have sole responsibility for an entire project/study.
NSR expects Analysts to be well grounded in the dynamics of the current satellite market and to show a high level of motivation in remaining at the forefront of current events and trends. Basic knowledge of market modeling is another critical ability required of an Analyst, along with a systematic and detail-oriented approach to work that enables the analyst to remain within the timetable set for any given project. Finally, an Analyst must have the required mix of independence that allows them to tackle a large range of projects, while at the same time be a consummate team player who is proactive in working with colleagues.
The Analyst position will provide coverage for many areas in the satellite market covered by NSR. NSR is very flexible in terms of working hours and location.
NSR seeks individuals who have had previous work experience with market research or business development projects. Minimum previous work experience in the industry is 1-3 years depending on the applicant's background. NSR specializes in markets addressed by commercial space operators and suppliers, and knowledge of this market will be a considerable advantage for applicants to this post.
- The applicant must have the ability to simultaneously manage multiple research/consulting engagements and clients.
- The applicant must have the ability to substantiate and defend a point of view with research data.
- English is the working language for NSR. Exceptional written, presentation and verbal communication skills are a necessity.
- The applicant must be fully skilled in use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
